Phong grew up in Minnesota after immigrating to the United States from Vietnam. After graduating from law school, Phong was commissioned into the US Army JAG Corps. He recently deployed to Kuwait with James, serving as the Deputy Chief Attorney of Contracts and Fiscal Law for the United States Army Central Command. Phong has held various positions in the Army for the last ten years.
He is now serving as the Deputy Regional Defense Counsel for the Midwest Region for the MN Army National Guard. Phong has worked in both corporate and military settings advising senior leaders and commanders. But he is most passionate about helping individual clients overcome legal issues. Phong has been practicing bankruptcy law since 2014. He has helped numerous clients discharge millions of dollars in total debt through bankruptcy proceedings. Phong enjoys helping people get a second chance financially after experiencing difficult circumstances.
